How to edit video transcription in Vision Web

Roles Admin, Job/User, Job Editor, and User have permission to perform this task.

When this icon is on a video, a transcription will be created to be viewed by users and potentially customers. Depending on the background noise or clarity of the speech these transcriptions may need editing.

You can edit the transcription in Vision Web by following the steps below:

1. Go to Job Activity, Completed Jobs, or Incomplete Jobs, and search for the job you would like to edit. 

2. Select the blue title of the job to open. 

3. This will open all the details of the job and the workflows associated. Find the video you need to edit the transcription on. 

4. Select the video to see the transcription. 

5. To the right of the video you will see the transcription. Select Edit Transcript. 

6. The transcript will open and you may make changes. 

7. Click anywhere other than the transcription box and it will save your changes. 

The transcription will now be updated in Vision Web, mobile, and any share links it is a part of.
