How do I edit my Dataplate information in XOi Mobile?

Roles Admin, Job/User Editor, Job Editor, and User have permission to perform this task. 

When working through workflow steps you may be asked to take an image of a dataplate. When you provide a dataplate in these steps XOi uses a feature called OCR(Optical Character Recognition). OCR scans the image and pulls out the Make/Model/Serial # if it is readable in the image.

You will have the ability to confirm Make, Model, & Serial # when adding the image. If you identify you put in the wrong information or want to fix a previously added dataplate you can. Select on the dataplate tag or the See all details button on the Manage Equipment screen. 

            

This will take you the Equipment Alerts page. At the top select the Edit on the Dataplate info banner. 

    

You will be able to zoom into the dataplate image and manually edit Make/Model/Serial #. Once done press Save in the top right-hand corner.
