Roles Admin, Job/User Editor, Job Editor, and User have permission to perform this task.
When working through workflow steps you may be asked to take an image of a dataplate. When you provide a dataplate in these steps XOi uses a feature called OCR(Optical Character Recognition). OCR scans the image and pulls out the make/model/serial # if it is readable in the image.
The image will be placed in one of three statuses in the Dataplate section: Successful, In Progress, and Not Detected.* All three areas have the potential for you to manually edit/put in the make/model/serial # using the pencil icon.
You will be able to zoom into the dataplate image and manually edit make/model/serial #. Once done press Save in the top right-hand corner.
Note: Based on the information you enter the status of the dataplate could change. For example; a dataplate could change from Not Detected to Successful when proper Make/Model #/Serial # are put in.
