Reassigning a Job Owner with Multiple Contributors

The Multiple Contributors per Job feature allows the job owner to invite other users to contribute workflows to their job. This can be helpful when working large jobs that involve multiple technicians to keep their work in one place with one shareable link.

If the owner of the job needs to change the job the ownership can be reassigned by Admins, Job/User Editors, and Job Editors in XOi Web. Reassigning can not be done by Users or in XOi Mobile. 

You can reassign the owner by clicking on the job title. 

Click the three dots in the top right-hand corner and select Reassign Job. 

If the current owner of the job does not have a workflow assigned to them choose the new owner and select Update Job. 

The job will be removed from the old owner and given to the new owner on the My Work page in XOi Mobile.

 

If the current owner does have a workflow(s) assigned to them you will need to choose whether they keep their current workflow(s) or if the new owner will take on the workflow(s). 

If you choose to have the old owner keep the workflow(s) they will become a contributor to the job and will not have owner permissions (closing the job, inviting other contributors).

If you choose to have the new owner take the old owner's workflow(s) the old owner will be removed from the job and the workflow(s) will be assigned to the new owner.
