Building Charts in Report Builder

While XOi has provided you with core and premium* dashboards, you can also use the Report Builder to build and customize reports, pull data, and help with decision-making. 

All User Roles can be permitted to use the Report Builder.

There are many ways you can customize a report, building a chart being one of them. 

 

Select a Chart Type

By default, each report will start as a table. To change to a graph select the drop-down menu at the top of the data panel.

• Table - view all data or grouped data in tabular format.
• Line chart - view data over a continuous spectrum.
• Bar chart - view data by category.
• Pie chart - view how individual values contribute to a whole.
• KPI - view a single “Key Performance Indicator” metric.
• Area chart - view a combination of the line chart and bar chart to show how one or more groups’ numeric values change over time.
• Heatmap -view values for a main variable of interest across two variables as a grid of colored squares. 
• Bar Funnel chart -view the flow of users through a business or sales process. 
• Scatter chart - view the relationship between variables using dots. 

If you do not have the proper fields filled in to be able to build the graph you choose you will see messages in those sections. Fill those areas out and your graph will display.
