Starting a Vision Live call from a Workflow
XOi's Vision Live Pro allows technicians to virtually connect and collaborate in real-time for faster training and problem resolution directly from the field. This is a premium feature that is set up by your Customer Success Manager.
Calls can be initiated from a mobile app or XOi web. In XOi Web calls can be initiated through the Vision Live Pro tab or a workflow step.
Starting a Vision Live Pro call from a workflow step is XOi's recommended best practice because all still images and recordings from the call will be saved directly to the job and workflow step.
Before you can initiate a call from a workflow you need to have:
- Vision Live Pro turned on for your account with the appropriate license setup (Speak to your Customer Success Manager)
- The workflow and workflow step needs to be configured properly
- A job for the technician needs to be created with the proper workflow assigned to it
Once the above has been set in place you may go to the Job Activity area.
Select Completed Jobs or Incomplete Jobs and find the job you want to start the call from.
Select the blue title of the job you would like to start the call from.
Find the Vision Live Recording step and select Start Vision Live Pro Call.
You will be taken to the Vision Live Pro tab with a call ready to initiate.
The link to the workflow will be placed in the reference box. Do not touch this link or it will not save recordings and images to the proper place.
You just need to place the phone number or email of the person you would like to start the call with to begin your call.
Any recordings or still images from this call will be placed directly into the step you initiated the call from after the end of the call.
