Integration Setup Requirements
All users must have matching emails in Data-Basics and XOi for the integration to work properly. These emails must be lowercase in both applications.
If the emails do not match the user will receive a deep link error when moving from Data-Basics to XOi.
Integration Walkthrough
The Data-Basics integration begins in the TechAnywhere application.
An XOi Job is created from TechAnywhere when a work order is acknowledged. You will be prompted to create an XOi job.
If you do not create the XOi job after acknowledgement in the Work Order Information header there will be an XOi logo. When selecting this it will prompt you to create the XOi job.
No matter when you create the job you will select on the XOi logo on the Work Order Information header to be taken directly to XOi. You can also access this deep link on the Equip/Service Details, Work Performed, and the PM Tasks headers.
Other deep links you will find in TechAnywhere are:
XOi History: The ‘XOi History’ button takes you to the Job Activity area in XOi, showing past jobs at the customer's location.
XOi Vision Equipment Asset: The ‘XOi Asset’ button takes you to the Job Activity area in XOi, showing past jobs for the piece of equipment you were looking at in TechAnywhere.
XOi Knowledge Base: The 'XOi Knowledge Base' button takes you to the XOi Knowledge Base, showing documentation for the piece of equipment you were looking at in TechAnywhere.
Work Order #, Customer, & Location
This information will be passed over to XOi after creation of the XOi job. By selecting the XOi logo you will be taken directly to the Job Info screen where you can review this information.
Suggested Equipment Tags
After selecting the equipment in TechAnywhere the equipment ID will appear as a blue suggested tag in the XOi mobile app. The suggested tag needs to be tagged to the proper dataplate image in XOi to pass back the summary to the proper work performed record and to pass back Make/Model/Serial number.
To add this tag:
1. In the workflow tap Content.
2. Tap Select in the top right-hand corner.
3. Clear circles will show in the top left-hand corner of each image and video. Select the content(s) you would like to delete, share, or tag. A blue circle with a checkmark will appear.
Press the tag button in the bottom right-hand corner.
Find the proper suggested tag and select the + button to the right of the tag. Make sure to press Save when done.
After entering the XOi job you may begin adding workflows and providing the required information.
After finishing the workflow(s) and completing the job information will be passed back to TechAnywhere. In XOi, you can get back to TechAnywhere by selecting the icon in the top left-hand corner.
Information that passes from XOi to Data-Basics
Serial, Make, & Model
Data plates captured within XOi Vision will be tagged with Make/Model/Serial. You should also add a suggested equipment tag to the data plate photo in XOi. These data plate tags will be sent back to SAMPro and logged under the equipment section, allowing administrative users to easily update their equipment inventory. XOi OCR information will overwrite any previous M/M/S info in SAMpro.
Video Transcriptions
Videos captured within an XOi Vision workflow step with transcription turned on will have those transcriptions sent back to SAMPro and logged as a new note.
Work Summaries
TechAnywhere: On the Work Performed section of the equipment tagged by the technician the AI Work summary will pass to. This will not pass back until the receipt has been generated in TechAnywhere.
You may edit these in TechAnywhere but they will not update in XOi. You may also copy and paste the summaries wherever you choose.
SAMpro: In the Notes section of the Work Order the XOi Summary will pass back to a note called XOi Summary.
You may edit these in SAMpro but they will not update in XOi.
Public and Entire Share Link
TechAnywhere: After the work order is completed in XOi and a receipt is generated in TechAnywhere, the invoice will have a section for XOi. Here a hyperlink to the job exists, containing the publicly shared content.
SAMpro: Inside the Work Order the public and entire job share links will be located under the XOi Vision Info button.
After selecting this button you will be prompted to choose which share page you would like to view.
Additional Information
TechAnywhere can only be used on Android devices.
