How do I upload a video/photo from my gallery to XOi Mobile?
In certain situations, you may need to take a video or photo from your gallery and upload it into a workflow versus taking it directly in a workflow step.
Examples include:
- Another technician sends you content to place into the workflow.
- A customer sends you content to place into the workflow.
- You took images/videos before starting the workflow.
No matter the reason why, you can easily upload from your device.
You will need to start by placing the video or photo in your device gallery.
If the content has been provided to you through email or text message from a customer or colleague follow the steps below on how to place it into your gallery.
- Tap and hold on to the content that was sent to you in a text message or email.
- You should then be given the option to save this to your device.*
To upload to a workflow step begin by going to the step in question.
Select the + to the right of the step.
Select Upload xxx from Gallery. Choose either the photo or video option based on what you are uploading.
Select your content and press Add. Your content will upload directly to the step.

Additional Information
*Depending on the type of device you are using how you save the content to your gallery may differ.
Some video file types are not supported. A lot of videos sent by text are default to a .3gp file format, which is not a supported file type in the app. If the video does not play, it may need to be converted into a file format that will.
