Video only displays a black screen when connected to Vision Live
If you are connected within Vision Live Desktop and you are only seeing a blank black screen, you may need to ensure that you have allowed permissions to camera. You can easily do this by following some simple steps:
- Make sure you do not have your camera open in any other application/webpage.
- Click on the lock to the left of the URL or the camera icon to the right side of the address bar.
- Ensure that Camera is set to Allow.
If this does not correct the issue, please check to see if the certificate for the webpage has been accepted. You can easily see this by looking in that same location. It should display the certificate as "Valid."
After allowing the camera you may need to click on Manage which will direct you to your camera's Privacy and security settings page where you can change your camera to the Vision Live RTCCVCam.
Note: You do need to be connected to a call to see the camera icon.
If all the permissions are set to allow and the screen is still black, please have the person you are trying to call check the permissions on their end.
