How do I create a job for a technician in XOi Vision Web?
Roles Admin, Job/User Editor, and Job Editor have permission to perform this task.
A job can be created and assigned to a technician of your choosing in XOi Vision Web. This allows you to dispatch jobs to be available for the technician at arrival instead of them building manually.
Follow the steps below:
1. Log into Vision Web: https://visionweb.xoi.io/
2. Click on the Create New Job button.
3. Fill out Work Order #, Customer, Location, and Assignment.
Work Order #: Unique identifier for the job. Can have numbers, letters, and special characters.
Customer: Customer name. Can be an individual or a company.
Location: Address of the job/equipment location.
Assignment: Technician you are assigning the job to.
4. After filling out all four required fields + Add Workflow will appear. Select + Add Workflow to assign the workflow(s) that the technician will need to finish before completing the job. This is also where you can add multiple contributors to a job*.
This is an optional field and can be filled out by the technician at the time of beginning the job.
5. You can also provide a Label for the workflow(s). These are unique identifiers to label the piece of equipment this workflow pertains to.

6. Select Confirm New Job.
Once created you will receive a Successful message at the top. By clicking on this link you will be taken to the job in XOi Web.

The next time the technician views their Incomplete Jobs in the My Work area on XOi Vision Mobile they will see this job and can begin working on it.
**Note: You can not schedule a job to show in the Incomplete Jobs section at a particular place and time. Once a job is created it will show the next time the technician looks at the My Work section.
