Exporting from the Report Builder

While XOi has provided you with core and premium* dashboards, you can also use the Report Builder to build and customize reports, pull data, and help with decision-making. 

All User Roles can be permitted to use the Report Builder.

Reports can be exported either immediately or at a scheduled day and time. 

Export Now

Select the Export > Export Now option on the top right-hand corner within a report to download the report.

A pop-up will display to select the desired file format of CSV, XLSX, PDF, or PNG. Select Export now. 

Note: An unsaved version of your view will be exported. This export will only export the current view. Schedule your export if you want to export all views at once

If the report does not export please check your pop-up blocker for the browser. Visionweb.xoi.io needs to be added as an exception.  

Scheduled Export

Scheduled exports provide reports as an email attachment on the configured cadence.

Users can manage or add new scheduled exports by clicking on the Export > Schedule Export option on the top right-hand corner of a report.

A pop-up will display to manage any existing scheduled export or schedule a new export. To schedule a new export select + Schedule an Email.

 

A pop-up will appear where you will configure the export. 

Select Recipients - Enter a valid email address one at a time. Press the "Enter" key or click outside of the input field to add the address to the configuration.

Subject Line - Customizable input. Recommended input is XOi Data: [Cadence] [Report Name]

Body - Customizable input. Paragraph breaks are not compatible in this field. An unsubscribe link is automatically included in each email. Recommended input is Please see the attachment for your report. 

Export Type - Select a file format of CSV, XLSX, PDF, or PNG for the attachment of the email. 
 

Scheduling - Select a 30-minute interval and time zone with the available cadences:

• Daily occurrence
• Weekly occurrence with the selection of the specific day
• Monthly occurrence by Weekday. The selection is anchored to specific weekdays within each month. (Ex: first Monday of the month, second Tuesday of the month, fourth Friday of the month, last Saturday of the month).
  • Note: Particular dates are not available at this time.

After configuring, click Send Test or Schedule Email. Tests will immediately deliver the report to ALL the scheduled recipients and indicate successful or unsuccessful delivery.

Few Notes on Scheduled Exports

• All scheduled exports are delivered by XOi <[e-mail]>
• Graphs and charts export the underlying summarized data that creates the chart. No images are emailed.
• ALL views within the report will be exported as attachments.
• Attachments are named according to the view name of the report.
• Only saved changes will be exported.
• If your attachment is blank, your report has no data.
• If the attachment is omitted, your report cannot load to generate the output. It is recommended to modify your report.

Managing Existing Exports

Click the three-dot menu on the right side of the existing export to edit its configurations. 

Edit allows you to change the configuration options of a scheduled export. 

Send Test will immediately deliver the report to ALL the scheduled recipients. A checkmark will indicate the report was sent. If the test fails, an error message will display.

 

Delete will immediately remove the existing export and its configuration.
