How to edit job information in XOi Web
While job information is normally completed in XOi Mobile, there is the ability to edit the information in XOi Web. Please note, that unless you are an Admin, Job/User Editor, or Job Editor, you can only edit jobs that are assigned to you.
To edit a job in XOi Web follow the steps below:
1. Go to Jobs then Completed Jobs or Incomplete Jobs, and search for the job you would like to edit.
2. Select the job title to open.
If you need to add/remove a workflow or change Work Order #, Customer, or Location select the three dots in the top-right corner and select Edit Job.**
**Note: The choices under the three dots change based on your role and whether you are in a completed job or an incomplete job.
To remove a workflow select the delete button. Please note any content already added to the step will be deleted.
To add a new workflow select + Add Workflow.
Select the Workflow you want to add and choose the technician you are assigning the workflow to.
Make sure to press Update Job when done.
The rest of the form will be open for you to edit. The areas that you can edit are:
- Job Tags: Keywords that can be used to search for the job in the future. These are not viewable to the customer. Select the blue + button, type in the word, and select the blue + button again.

Internal Notes: Internal information that will help the technician or future technicians. Examples include gate codes, location of equipment, and particularities of the customer.
- If there is not an existing internal note select + Add Note. Type in your information and click outside the box to save.

- If there is an existing internal note, select the pencil to the right of the note. Edit the existing note and click outside the box to save.
**Note: You can only place text into the internal notes. You can not place images or PDFs.**
- Workflow Tags: Keywords that can be used to search for the job in the future. These are viewable to the customer. Select the blue + button, type in the tag, and select the blue + button again.
- Work Summary: AI-generated or manually written summary of the completed workflow. These are viewable to the customer. Select the pencil button to edit.
When the Work Summary is edited there will be an Edited label in the top right-hand corner.

Notes on steps: Select + Add Note on the step you would like to add a note to and type in your information.
- If there is not an existing note select + Add Note. Type in your information and click outside the box to save.
- If there is an existing note, select the pencil to the right of the note. Edit the existing note and click outside the box to save.

Content on steps: Images, videos, or PDFs.
- Select + Add Content and select the file from your computer.
- You can click and drag uploaded content to different steps in case they were placed on the wrong step.
- You may delete content by selecting the trash can in the top right-hand corner of the content.
- Select + Add Content and select the file from your computer.

- Add tags to your image/video by selecting the content and then selecting the blue + button under the Tags section on the right.

- Answer questions or change answers: You may answer multiple choice, yes/no, date, numeric, and short text questions by selecting where prompted on the step.
All of your changes are live. No save button needs to be pressed. Once the assigned technician refreshes their mobile app they will see all changes made.
